Privacy Policy
Short version
Advoke CV runs entirely in your browser. No accounts, no servers, no analytics, no trackers, no third-party scripts. Everything you write stays on your device unless you export it yourself.
Who we are
Advoke CV is a free, browser-based resume builder. It is a static website served from Cloudflare Pages. There is no company entity behind a server that handles your data, because there is no server that handles your data.
What we collect
Nothing. Advoke CV does not collect personal information. There is no signup, no email capture, no form submission to a backend, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no cookies used for tracking.
What stays in your browser
The following data is stored on your device using your browser's localStorage, which is a browser feature that stores small amounts of data on your device. It is not a cookie, and it is not shared across sites:
- Your saved resume drafts
- The name of your most recent draft
- Your theme preference (light, dark, or system)
- Feature flags you have toggled (e.g. prefetch on/off)
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server, and no third party can read it.
Third parties
Advoke CV does not load any third-party scripts, fonts, images, or tracking technologies. The site is served as plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and only makes network requests to its own origin (advoke-cv.pages.dev).
Cloudflare Pages hosts the site, which means Cloudflare's edge network sees the IP address of every visitor as part of normal HTTP handling. Cloudflare may log requests for security and operational purposes. Advoke CV does not have access to those logs and does not use them for analytics.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal information, there is nothing to access, correct, delete, or port. If you wish to delete all data Advoke CV has stored in your browser, open the editor and use the "Delete all data" option in the overflow menu, or clear your browser's site data for advoke-cv.pages.dev.
Children
Advoke CV is not directed at children under 13. Because no personal data is collected, the service does not knowingly or unknowingly store information about minors.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top of the page will change. The spirit of this policy — no collection, no servers, everything local — is a permanent design constraint and will not change.
